Wanda P. Spuhler, MD
Dr. Wanda P. Spuhler graduated from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis and did her training at the University of Arizona. She also holds appointments as clinical assistant professor in the Family Medicine Department at both Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston. In 2008, she was named a Teacher of Distinction at UTMB School of Medicine-Galveston.
Dr. Spuhler’s clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, preventative medicine, and medical aesthetics. Dr. Spuhler focuses on comprehensive adolescent and adult patient-centered medical care with a strong emphasis on prevention for her patients. She values the long-term patient-physician relationships that she has established since starting her practice in Friendswood in 1984.
A resident of the Friendswood/Clear Lake/Alvin area, Dr. Spuhler is married with three children and four grandchildren. She enjoys scuba diving and travel during her leisure time.
Cynthia Scott-Praisoody, MD
Dr. Cynthia Scott-Praisoody earned her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston.
Board certified in internal medicine, she has practiced in Friendswood since 2008. Dr. Scott-Praisoody’s clinical interests are diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Scott-Praisoody, an avid reader, lives in Friendswood. She is married and the mother of three.
